Our PRI Coordinator, Ms. Paige, hosted another engaging after-school program for our Mustangs! Today, students completed a circle weave, showing creativity, patience, and focus throughout the activity. We love seeing our students try new things and take pride in their work!

This week, our 2nd–5th grade Mustangs will be showing what they’ve learned as they take the i-Ready diagnostic! We know they’re ready to do their best and shine!

It’s been a wonderful week in Mrs. Kim Conley’s classroom!
Students stayed busy with hands-on activities like planting flowers, building homes for Tonies, and painting rocks for their traveling rock project.
So much learning and fun happening all around!

This week, the scientists in Ms. Bargo's and Mrs. Shepherd’s first grade classrooms explored states of matter! They investigated reversible changes, made “popsicle soup,” and even created their own ice cream. Learning has never been so fun and delicious! ❤️🐴🖤 #MustangPride

Over the last two months, our Mustangs have been working hard to pass their i-Ready lessons—and that hard work paid off today! 🎉
Students enjoyed a foam-tastic day filled with laughter and fun. It was a well-deserved reward for their dedication and perseverance.
A huge shoutout to our PTG for funding this celebration. Without their support and commitment to fundraising, this would not have been possible!

Community-Based Instruction (CBI) outing with Mrs. Michaela McDaniels’ class was a success! 🚌❤️
We visited the bank, Save A Lot, and the Dollar Store, learning real world skills, practicing independence, and having such a great time together. So proud of these students and excited for many more CBI adventures ahead!

A big thank you to the wonderful Coach Sarah Hansford and her amazing volunteers for introducing our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders to archery today! 🏹
Students can begin participating in our National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) starting in 4th grade and continue all the way through high school. This year, our archers competed at the state level and finished near the top third of all participating schools—an incredible accomplishment! Additionally, our entire MVES team earned a spot in the national competition, which will be held in May.
We’re also proud of the growth our students showed this season. Many had never picked up a bow before this year and made tremendous progress, with some scoring as high as 250 out of 300! If your student is interested in joining, be on the lookout for sign-up information in the fall, and check with their homeroom teacher for details.

Attention 2nd–5th grade Mustangs — it’s go time! Show what you know, crush your goals, and earn your chance to glow at the party!
