Congratulations to our outstanding 5th grade students for earning these prestigious end-of-year award pins! This special group of Mustangs has accomplished so much during their time at MVES, and we are incredibly proud of each and every one of them. Their leadership, kindness, hard work, and growth have made a lasting impact on our school, and they will truly be missed as they move on to middle school. Mrs. Michaela McDaniel’s class wrapped up the school year with the best kind of celebration — a Water Field Day full of laughter, games, sunshine, and lots of splashing! These students have worked so hard all year long, and today was all about making memories, having fun, and celebrating an amazing year together. Mrs. Susan, Dr. Joanne Guilfoil, Ms. Paige Beichler (PRI), and a group of students worked together on the beautification of our library by creating a beautiful new mural for our Leader in Me section. The mural represents important leadership qualities and will surround a special collection of books highlighting each of the Seven Habits to help encourage leadership and character growth in our students. We are so thankful to everyone who helped create this meaningful space that will inspire our Mustangs for years to come! ❤️🐴🖤 #MustangPride

Fifth graders are officially FINISHED with testing! Now it’s time to enjoy the final days of elementary school together. So proud of this group and all they have accomplished this year. They have grown so much and will truly be missed! ❤️🐴🖤 #MustangPride

First grade had a wonderful Field Day filled with bubbles, dancing, and playing with friends! Students enjoyed every moment of fun together under the beautiful weather, making lots of laughter-filled memories along the way. A perfect day to celebrate friendship, movement, and joy! ❤️🐴🖤 #MustangPride

The MVES Archery Team ended the season with a fantastic banquet sponsored by the coaches and parents. A special thanks for members of the RCHS Honors club for the decorations and hard work on the picture video, and a special thank you to all parents for providing food, helping with preparation, clean up, and so forth. Due to the huge interest in our Family Fishing Night hosted by the Rockcastle PRI Coordinators, we are excited to offer THREE separate dates for families from each school! Location: Lake Linville Registration table will be set up near the bait shop. Families can stop by to sign in, receive a registration bracelet, water, bait, or even a fishing pole! 🐴 June 11 | 2:00–6:00 PM Mt. Mrs. Becky brought science to life in 4th grade today by dissecting a cow eyeball to help students review the parts of the eye! Our Mustangs were engaged, curious, and excited for this hands-on learning experience. What a memorable way to explore science in action! ❤️🐴🖤 #MustangPride

Ms. Kim and Mrs. Michaela’s classes were entertained by the Allegro Dance Project today! Students had a blast learning about and experiencing some of the tools and equipment DJs use to create music and keep the crowd moving. What a fun and interactive experience for our Mustangs! ❤️🐴🖤 #MustangPride
