Mr. Brown brings over 15 years of teaching experience at RCHS and has served as Assistant Principal at Garrard Middle School for the past three years. We’re thrilled to have him back in Rocket Country and know he’ll be a great addition to the MVES team! 🚀

Although the weather didn’t cooperate, fourth grade students still had a fantastic day at MVES!
Students rotated through various rooms for a fun and creative indoor “field day” experience! After lunch, we wrapped up the day with more activities in the gym.

What a night at the Rising Rockets Gala! Our amazing 5th grade students and teachers came together to celebrate the end of their elementary school journey. The evening was filled with joy, laughter, and moments they’ll never forget.
A huge shout-out to our fifth grade teachers for putting this event together for our Rising Rockets. They put in a lot of time and energy to ensure these fifth graders had a wonderful time.











The first 10 students that completed the i-Ready Challenge won a fabulous prize!

Our 4th graders did it! They conquered the 20 Book Genre Challenge by reading a wide variety of genres—everything from adventure to mystery to fantasy!
To celebrate their hard work and love for reading, we threw a fun celebration with pizza, cookie cake, and more books to keep the reading excitement going!
Huge shoutout to all the avid readers who completed the challenge! You’ve earned it! Keep reading, keep exploring, and keep making those incredible literary adventures your own.






Mrs. Shepherd’s fourth graders had a fantastic time at Camp Learn-a-Lot today! 🏕️ They explored different campsites, made memories, and had a blast along the way. These students know how to make the most of every adventure!










🌟 Today was extra special for Mrs. Lyndsey’s 4th graders! 🌟
They had an awesome time visiting the 1st grade classrooms of Mrs. Jamie and Mrs. Kelli to play games and spend time with their younger schoolmates. 🎲💬✨
It was all smiles, laughter, and sweet moments as the big kids helped guide, play, and connect with the first graders. We love seeing our students build friendships and grow together across grade levels! ❤️👫📚











Third Grade had an excellent time at Maywoods today! They got to explore nature, find creatures in the creek, learn about predator and prey, and go on an insect investigation. Special thanks to Mrs. Starla Benge, her RCHS GATE students and EKU for a wonderful day!











Second grade had an amazing Field Day! We raced in relays, played water games, had sack races, did three-legged relays, and tug o’ war! Big thanks to Mr. Blake for grilling hot dogs. We were blessed with perfect weather and an unforgettable day together!











Mrs. Angie Hunt’s class celebrated their last day with RCHS Co-op student Kierra Larkey. She has been a blessing in Our classroom!
