Our fourth graders had a blast during the "Save Fred" team-building activity today in reading class! The students worked together to rescue Fred the gummy worm from a cup using only paper clips. It was amazing to see their problem-solving skills, creativity, and teamwork in action. Last week, MVES staff enjoyed a delightful breakfast from FBC of Mt. Vernon. We were especially thrilled to see Mr. John Hale, a renowned Rockcastle County staple, among the amazing servers. Staff members who had the pleasure of being taught or working with Mr. Hale took a moment to express their gratitude and capture the memory with a photo.
