“Grade School” Basketball is back in Rockcastle County!!!!
🏀 Each elementary school will have 4th/5th combined basketball teams for girls (fall) and boys(winter)!
🏀We will play an inter-county schedule in 2024-25!
🏀Evaluations for girls’ teams begin Sep 3rd at each school!

Rockcastle County Schools' food service department will be offering free meals at the Longest Day of Play event on June 20th from 4:30 to 6:30 PM.
All children aged 18 and under are welcome to receive a complimentary meal during this time.

Over the past several weeks, our Food Service Department hosted Sample Days, bringing exotic flavors to our lunch experience. Students and staff had the opportunity to taste delicious dragon fruit and mango! We hope everyone enjoyed this tropical treat! 🥭
Summer Electronic Benefits Transfer Information ⬇️
The following school-aged students (aged 6-17 as of August 1st, 2023) are automatically approved for SEBT benefits and do not need to apply:
- Students that have received SNAP, KTAP, and/or Kinship Care for at least one (1) month since July 1st, 2023.
Students who do not fall into the above category but are within the income eligibility limits can apply for SEBT benefits online.
